Monetary donations go toward buying food for the animals like Sugar, our blind pony. Volunteering is another way to help. For details on either of these ways to help, please visit our Volunteer and Donations page.
In kind donations are another welcome form of help. In kind donations are items like supplies:
Cat beds
Blankets and towels
Cat litter
Bird seed
Cat carriers
Dog leashes
Lead lines
Collars
Halters, etc
All of the above listed are all great. Common household items are also very useful. Things like trash bags, paper towels, old news papers, and cleaning rags.
Have scrap metal? We can use that, too! If you're not sure if we would want something, please don't hesitate to ask. Many items can be re-purposed. Did you know baby changing tables are also great cat bunk beds? Dog kennels can be modified into chicken runs. Ladders are not hard to modify into cat condos.
With the gardens starting to produce here locally, there's another donation source. Chickens, geese, pot bellied pigs, and even the goat love vegetables. You don't have to compost your garden excess or greens just starting to wither. As long as the produce isn't too far gone we have many animals more than happy to peck or munch on it.
